The restaurant

In addition to friendliness and professionalism, the philosophy of the house includes an enthusiasm for Bavarian conviviality.

The heart of the Zollpackhof is the restaurant with its 360° round fireplace. Here you can enjoy original German-Austrian cuisine with regional influences as well as a large selection of Bavarian beer specialities every day from 12 to 9 pm. In summer, the restaurant's large terraces invite you to linger. A special view of the Spree and the Federal Chancellery awaits you there.

With a lot of cordiality and always in a good mood, the Zollpackhof welcomes its guests..

Our Remise, which is directly adjacent to the restaurant, is ideal for events of a special kind. The Remise, also called the "Chancellor's Hall", offers space for up to 120 guests and can be booked exclusively. Under the ceiling are rustic wooden beams on which five cast-iron chandeliers fill the room with an atmospheric ambience.

We rent out the Remise with a terrace section so that standing receptions, with mulled wine or sparkling wine depending on the season, are accompanied by a wonderful view. Afterwards, we are happy to offer you various buffet options here.

The light-flooded Remise is also ideal for conferences. We work together with our reliable service provider for the necessary technology.

For weddings or other festivities, our Remise is changeable, like only the blossoms on our chestnut tree.

Benjamin Groenewold

With the takeover in 2005, the original Berlin restaurateur Benjamin Groenewold gave a piece of tradition back to the capital.

After a long renovation phase between 2014 and 2016, in cooperation with the Augustiner Brewery from Munich, the historic complex shines in new splendour.

The overall architectural concept was based on old building plans from the turn of the century.
